Less Is More Challenge No. 82 ~ 3-2-1

Just popped on to do a really quick post as I wanted to enter this weeks Less Is More challenge, ( see HERE ), and the challenge closes later today.

The challenge this week is to incorporate 3 of something, 2 of something and 1 of something else!

My 3 = 3 blocks of colour; "Pool Party", "Lucky Limeade" & "Calypso Coral"
My 2 = 2 stamped images, the flower and fallen leaves from the "Happiness Shared" stamp set
My 1 = 1 sentiment from the "Thank You Kindly" stamp set.

I was pleased how it came out, I love using the clear blocks to stamp colour onto a card, I love the fact that you get a different effect every time you do it.

take care, and that really is it from me for today! ...  xx

Simply Stampin' Challenge No. 9 - Floral Frenzy

Hello, Hope you had a great bank holiday weekend, mine was quiet and peaceful, so perfect for me!

Today's card is my entry for this weeks challenge over at "Simply Stamping" The theme this week is "Floral Frenzy". I only noticed this after I had made this card this weekend, how's that for serendipity!

This is actually a box aperture card blank that I got ages ago from Papermania, the picture below shows the depth of the 'box' part of the card and a gives a peek at the inside...

Better view of the inside...

The card was made up using the follow Stampin' Up products:

Stamp Set = "Growing Green", (Cat No. 120624, Pg 56), Marker pen colours for the stamped images in "Rose Red" & "Pear Pizzazz", (Cat No. 119700 for "Subtles" collection and 119801 for "In Color" collection, both on Pg 102), Paper is from "Springtime Vintage", (Cat No. 121782, Pg 12 in Summer Mini Cat'), Ribbon is "Rose Red" seem binding ribbon, (Cat No. 121884, Pg 17, Summer Mini Cat'), and a nice sprinkling of "Dazzleing Diamonds" glitter, (Cat No. 102023, Pg 100), below is a little close up of the sparkly bits in the middle.

Sorry it's not a better picture of the glitter, it's much more sparkly in real life.

If you would like to learn more about any of the products or techniques used on this card, please do not hesitate to get in touch, it would be lovely to chat with you.

Hope you like it, take care of yourselves xx
