Firstly, I want to say sorry for not posting over the last couple of weeks, but unfortunately, as some of my readers know, I’ve had a bereavement of a close family member and I’m sure you can appreciate that blogging has been the last thing on my mind. I do have to say that that pretty paper and cute stamps have been a life saver. It’s been great to be able to hide away in my little craft room and lose myself in little projects.
Today I’m going to share some cards I’ve made over the last few days to thank people for coming to the funeral, which was in central London, which is a nightmare to get into whatever mode of transport you are using and I wanted to make sure that the realised how much I appreciated them being there.
I kept the colour palette really simple and classic, using 'Marina Mist', 'Old Olive', 'Baja Breeze' and 'Garden Green' markers for the images. I used 'Very Vanilla' and 'Sahara Sand' for the card blanks and the 'Thanks for Caring' stamp set which is in the Summer Mini catalogue at the moment, Oh, and I also used a little 1/4" Grosgrain in Marina Mist.
Hope you like the cards, I found it very therapeutic and feel very lucky to have such a wonderful hobby.
take care of yourselves!
Big crafty hugs, xx
