Hello, my share today shows a slightly different way of using the new "Labels Collection" dies that are currently in the Stampin' Up Summer Mini.
From the front, at first glance, it looks like a regular card that has a die cut piece on the front,
but I've actually used the die on the back of the card but haven't run the
die all the way through the Big Shot so that it is still attached to the
back of the card.
I cut a section off the end of the front of the card, so that it lines up with where the die cutting on the back piece ends, then I use the die cut piece to overlap to the front of the card.
Now I can't take credit for this idea as I saw someone demonstrate it and thought it looked great and wanted to share it with you all as soon as possible.
I covered the whole front of the card with the beautiful "Beau Chateau"
DSP as I thought that the combination of the gorgeous paper and the card
structure was all that was needed otherwise it would get way too busy.
If you don't have this DSP and want to get some, then this month is the
perfect time to stock up on DSP as Stampin' Up have their "Buy 3 get 1 free"
promotion on until the end of June.
Hope you like this slightly different way of using the labels dies and if you have any questions or would like me to come to your house and demonstrate how to achieve this or any other effect, then please do not hesitate to get in contact and arrange a FREE workshop for your and your friends.
Take care ... xx
