Tie Mini-tutorial

This mini-tutorial is to show you have to make the tie as seen in my project HERE

Start off with two pieces of DSP or card stock, 1 @ 1/2" x 2", this piece is for the knot and 1 @ 1/2" x 3-1/8", for the body of the tie.

Step 2

If using DSP, put the pattern you wish to use on your project face down and adhere the longer piece tin the centre of the shorter piece to form a 'T', as shown

Step 3

Fold the bottom right hand corner of the top of the 'T' up to the top left hand corner of the longer piece of DSP, as shown, and give a good crease.

Step 4

Repeat for the other side.

Step 5

Now adhere both of these pieces to the top of the 'T'

Step 6

Now turn over so that the side you want facing out is showing.

Step 7

Cut the bottom of the tie to form a point and cut the top of the Tie so that all the back side of the DSP is removed.

Adhere to your project.

Hope that was helpful, if you need any points clarified, please let me know... xx
